Church membership is a covenant relationship, a family that worships, grows and serves together.
Profession of faith
By profession of faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, and by believer’s baptism.
Letter
By letter of recommendation from another Baptist church of like faith and order.
Statement
By statement of a prior conversion experience and baptism by immersion, or by restoration when no letter can be obtained.
Members who can’t be present for valid reasons may be presented by a family member or close friend.
Unlike civic organizations, church membership carries a few expectations. We’ll help every new member understand the covenant relationship they’re entering as part of the Body of Christ, and the privileges and responsibilities that come with it.
Members are encouraged to take part in the ministry and spiritual growth opportunities offered through the church.
