Be a Greeter on Sunday mornings.
Welcome people to our church and provide them with directions and additional assistance. Yours will be the first face many people will see when they get here. You must have all your teeth.
Sing in the Choir.
The choir meets for rehearsal on Wednesdays at 7 pm and leads us in Sunday Morning Worship. Believe it or not, you don’t have to be able to sing very good.
Play a Musical Instrument.
Yes, you do need to know how to play one pretty well.
Serve on the Tech Team.
This team provides all the technical assistance for Sunday Morning Worship and for additional events, including weddings and funerals. On Sunday mornings, they make the magic happen.
Serve on the Security Team.
This team provides security throughout our facilities when we meet. Sorry but you don’t get to carry a gun.
Serve in the Church Office.
Occasionally there is a short-term need for additional office assistance.
Serve in the Children’s Ministry on Sunday Mornings or Wednesday Nights.
There are opportunities to serve during SuperKids Bible study and Children’s Church.
Serve in the Preschool Ministry on Sunday Mornings or Wednesday Nights.
There are opportunities to serve during SuperKids Jr. Bible study and Children’s Church. SKJrs are babies through 5 yr olds.
Serve in the Student Ministry on Sunday Mornings or Wednesday Nights.
There are opportunities to lead a Bible study or just assist. Don’t be afraid. We haven’t lost a leader yet. As far as we know.
Help on a cooking crew.
Keep our kitchen fit for service, Wednesday night meal preps and special events.
Provide Facilities Maintenance.
From time to time light bulbs and air filters need to be replaced and other small repair jobs need to be done. Removing small dead animals is one of these jobs.
Lead an Adult Bible Study Group.
If our church is going to grow, additional Bible study groups must be started. If you don’t know how to teach, we will teach you how. If you know how to teach or have taught before but don’t know where you can, there is a place waiting for you or you can start a group.
Host a Weekly Bible Study Group in Your Home.
Open your home to a group for Bible Study once a week. Your group will bring their own food – free dinner for you!
Follow Up with Our Guests.
When we have guests, we like to check on them after they come the first few times. We write cards, deliver gifts, give them a call, send them a text message, an email, a card or a letter.
Accompany children or students on trips, mission trips, to camps and on other excursions.
If you have your Commercial Driver’s License or will get one – congratulations!!! Your name goes to the top of the list!
Give a little more.
Give an extra 1% or 3% or any % of what you currently give financially. If you want to give an additional one-time gift, fantastic! Indicate your commitment on an offering envelope.
